Kaicycle collects food scraps from offices and multi-unit dwellings in the city by e-bike and trailer. Households can also subscribe to drop off food scraps at one of our hubs. Reach out to compost@kaicycle.org.nz to sign up.

  2. Bread and baked goods
  3. Beans, lentils and nuts
  4. Pasta, rice and other grains
  5. Coffee grounds and tea leaves
  6. Eggshells
  7. Plant trimmings

What’s not

  1. All compostable packaging
  2. Teabags
  3. Dairy and eggs
  4. Meat and fish
  5. Pet poop or litter
  6. Paper, napkins, kitchen towels, baking paper or cardboard
  7. Hair, floss, nail clippings or lint
  8. Plastic or rubbish
  9. Stickers from fruit and vegetables
