Buenos Aires Ciudad runs a public drop-off programme for various waste streams called Puntos Verdes. Organic waste is one of these waste streams, collected in the Compostera Comunitaria bins adjacent to the Punto Verde shipping containers or directly as part of the Puntos Verdes Móviles sub-programme.
These drop-off bins are only accessible during staffed days and hours, which differ between comunas. See the below links for latest opening hours.
