This is a community composting station run by BKM Budapest Public Works (BKM Budapesti Közművek Nonprofit Zrt.) and FŐKERT Gardening Division, with support from the European Union's LIFE program (specifically LIFE IP HungAIRy LIFE17 IPE/HU/000017 project). See the below link for more information.

What’s accepted

1. Fruit and vegetable scraps
2. Egg shells
3. Coffee grounds
4. Garden waste (tree branches, twigs, fallen leaves, etc)

What’s not

1. Cooked leftovers
2. Meat
3. Dairy
4. Vegetable oils and used cooking oil
